Any plans for Christmas?  Q&A

Saimme viimeisellä kotipeliviikolla TPS-toimistolle TET-harjoitteluun Alyssan ja Nadinen Turun kansainvälisestä koulusta. Yhtenä tehtävänä he saivat udella Perriniltä, Tallinderilta, Spinalta ja Thorellilta pelaajien joulusuunnitelmista.

Q: Tell us a bit about your family.

A (Dave Spina): I have a wife, a daughter who is two years old, Evelyn, and a six month old baby boy named Harvey and they are a lot of work and a lot of fun so I’m excited for the Christmas break to come up so I can spend more time with them.

Q: What is your favorite thing about Christmas in Turku?

A (Eric Thorell): I guess it´s a nice city to walk around through the water.

Q: Do you have any plans for Christmas?

A (Henrik Tallinder): Yes, many plans. Me, my wife and my two kids are going to visit my in-laws in a smaller town than Turku called Loviisa, to celebrate Christmas.

Q: Do you have any Christmas traditions?

A (Eric Perrin): Yes. When I grew up in Montreal, we always went to church on Christmas Eve at midnight and were there for an hour. When we came back, it was time to open the gifts Santa had left under the tree for the little kids. Then on Christmas Day we had a really big Christmas dinner, which included a big turkey and a lot of casseroles and things like that.

Q: What’s your favourite Christmas food or drink?

A (Eric Thorell): I guess it is meatballs and julmust.

Q: How do you plan relaxing on your break from hockey?

A (Dave Spina): We are actually gonna head up to Rovaniemi and not see the sun at all. Just enjoy Santa's village up there and sleep as much as we can and try to decompress after being halfway through the season already.

Q: Do you have any Christmas wishes this year?

A (Henrik Tallinder): Yes I do! I wish my teammates would be a bit nicer to me.
